Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2025

To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to strengthen the background check procedures to be followed before a Federal firearms licensee may transfer a firearm to a person who is not such a licensee.

To authorize the Secretary of Education to award grants to eligible entities to carry out professional development for arts educators and creative arts therapists to learn how to best accommodate children with disabilities, and for other purposes.

To prohibit individuals and entities from owning more than 75 single-family residences, and for other purposes.

Calling for the urgent delivery and disbursement of humanitarian aid to address the needs of civilians in Gaza.

VALID Act of 2025

To enhance civil rights accountability and enforcement in the Department of Agriculture, and for other purposes.

Expressing support for the designation of June 6, 2025, as National Gun Violence Awareness Day and June 2025 as National Gun Violence Awareness Month.

To amend title 18, United States Code, to clarify the penalty for use of force, and for other purposes.

To establish the National Police Misuse of Force Investigation Board, and for other purposes.

To amend the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 to authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to waive the matching funds requirement under the specialty crop research initiative, and for other purposes.

To award a Congressional Gold Medal to Joan Trumpauer Mulholland in recognition of her unique and substantial contributions to American life through her life-long commitment to social justice and equality for all citizens, exhibited both through direct action, at great personal risk, and through ongoing educational activities.

To establish the Strength in Diversity Program, and for other purposes.

Calling upon all Americans on this Memorial Day, 2025, to honor the men and women of the Armed Forces who have died in the pursuit of freedom and peace.

College for All Act of 2025
