Servicemember Student Loan Affordability Act of 2025

To affirm an agreement, and to nullify certain Executive orders that relate to collective bargaining by employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide covered employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs the right to be represented during examinations that may result in disciplinary actions against the covered employee.

Recognizing the psychological impact of immigration enforcement overreach on individuals, their families, and their community.

Honoring Juan López, a Honduran Catholic leader and human rights advocate murdered in the Tocoa municipality of the Bajo Aguán region of Honduras and commemorating one year since his assassination.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to equalize treatment of capital gains and earned income.

To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to eliminate the thresholds for reporting the identification of persons making contributions to political committees with respect to elections for Federal office.

To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act to clarify the treatment of coordinated expenditures as contributions made to candidates under such Act, and for other purposes.

To provide for a limitation on the transfer of defense articles and defense services to Israel.

To prohibit the use of Federal funds to carry out Executive Order 14160.

To amend the United States Housing Act of 1937 and the Internal Revenue Code to promote the establishment of tenant organizations, and for other purposes.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the authorization of appropriations for comprehensive service programs for homeless veterans.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to expand the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make grants to entities that furnish services to homeless veterans.

Recognizing the 10th Anniversary of Educators Rising.

Recognizing and commemorating the contributions of contemporary Latinas in the State of Illinois.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide restoration of entitlement to educational assistance to individuals defrauded by educational institutions receiving payment on behalf of such individuals under the laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and to provide repayment of funds to the Secretary from such educational institutions, and for other purposes.

To amend section 222 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to prohibit the rejection of immigrant and nonimmigrant applications for omissions in certain fields not required.

To establish in the Department of Homeland Security the Task Force on the Reunification of Families, and for other purposes.

To promote the establishment of resident organizations and provide additional amounts for tenant organizations, and for other purposes.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide that educational assistance paid under Department of Veterans Affairs educational assistance programs to an individual who pursued a program or course of education that was suspended or terminated for certain reasons shall not be charged against the entitlement of the individual, and for other purposes.
