Break the Cycle of Violence Act

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to clarify that all provisions shall apply to legally married same-sex couples in the same manner as other married couples.

To permit legally married same-sex couples to amend their filing status for tax returns outside the statute of limitations.

Expressing support for the designation of May 17, 2025, as DIPG Pediatric Brain Cancer Awareness Day to raise awareness of, and encourage research on, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma tumors and pediatric cancers in general.

To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the distribution of 3D printer plans for the printing of firearms, and for other purposes.

To ensure greater accountability by licensed firearms dealers.

To direct the Federal Trade Commission to prescribe rules prohibiting the marketing of firearms to minors, and for other purposes.

To protect a person’s ability to determine whether to continue or end a pregnancy, and to protect a health care provider’s ability to provide abortion services.

To provide enhanced protections for election workers.

SECURE Act

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 regarding proprietary institutions of higher education in order to protect students and taxpayers.

To provide for an emergency increase in Federal funding to State Medicaid programs for expenditures on home and community-based services.

To provide for the establishment of Medicare part E public health plans, and for other purposes.

To provide that chapter 1 of title 9 of the United States Code, relating to the enforcement of arbitration agreements, shall not apply to enrollment agreements made between students and certain institutions of higher education, and to prohibit limitations on the ability of students to pursue claims against certain institutions of higher education.

To establish statutory rights to choose to receive, provide, and cover fertility treatments, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the 250th birthday of the United States Army.

Condemning Russia’s devastating aerial bombardment on the people of Ukraine, particularly the use of increasingly advanced ballistic missiles, and expressing support for securing more air defense systems.

To repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, and provide for the discoverability and admissibility of gun trace information in civil proceedings.

Honoring the life, achievements, and legacy of former United States Senator Christopher “Kit” Bond of Missouri.
