CFIUSMCA Act

Increasing Baseline Updates Act

To ban anticompetitive terms in facility and insurance contracts that limit access to higher quality, lower cost care.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exclude from gross income mandatory restitution or civil damages received as recompense for trafficking in persons.

To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide that any alien who has been convicted of a felony or two misdemeanors, is deportable, and for other purposes.

To require the United States Trade Representative to request a dispute resolution panel with Mexico under the USMCA, initiate an investigation under the Trade Act of 1974, or require, during the first joint review of the USMCA, that Mexico comply with certain obligations under the USMCA with respect to certain actions taken by Mexico that favor its state-owned electrical utility and state-owned petroleum company.

To provide for a period of continuing appropriations in the event of a lapse in appropriations under the normal appropriations process, to establish procedures and consequences in the event of a failure to enact appropriations, and for other purposes.

District of Columbia Medicaid Fairness Act

To amend the Federal Crop Insurance Act with respect to research and development regarding harvest incentive policies, and for other purposes.

Expressing condolences and support for the victims of the July 4 flooding in Texas, honoring acts of heroism, and committing to stand with those impacted by these floods.

Recognizing the 10-year anniversary of the TORQE 62 crash in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

To amend the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act to provide for improved coordination between the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Secretary of Agriculture, and for other purposes.

Honoring the life and legacy of Charles Charlie James Kirk.

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to apply improved prompt payment requirements to Medicare Advantage organizations.

To require any amounts remaining in the Members’ Representational Allowance at the end of a fiscal year to be deposited in the Treasury and used for deficit reduction or to reduce the Federal debt, and for other purposes.

Prevent Government Shutdowns Act of 2025

To restrict certain Federal grants for States that grant driver licenses to illegal immigrants and fail to share information about criminal aliens with the Federal Government.

To repeal the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Amendment Act of 2022 enacted by the District of Columbia Council.
