Designating August 16, 2023, as National Airborne Day.

To reduce the health risks of heat by establishing the National Integrated Heat Health Information System within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Integrated Heat Health Information System Interagency Committee to improve extreme heat preparedness, planning, and response, requiring a study, and establishing financial assistance programs to address heat effects, and for other purposes.

To establish standards for trauma kits purchased using funds provided under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.

To impose surcharges on private jet travel and certain first class and business tickets, and for other purposes.

To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to prohibit the use of consumer credit checks against prospective and current employees for the purposes of making adverse employment decisions.

To amend title 36, United States Code, to revise the Federal charter for the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association.

To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to ensure that all firearms are traceable, and for other purposes.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to establish a stewardship fee on the production and importation of opioid pain relievers, and for other purposes.

To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to build safer, thriving communities, and save lives, by investing in effective community-based violence reduction initiatives, and for other purposes.

To provide for the long-term improvement of public school facilities, and for other purposes.

Expressing the sense of the Senate relating to nuclear power and the commitment of the Senate to embracing and promoting nuclear power as a clean baseload energy source necessary to achieve a reliable, secure, and diversified electric grid.

Declaring racism a public health crisis.

To amend the Public Health Service Act to improve reproductive health care of individuals with disabilities.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to disallow deductions for certain payments relating to defamation suits.

Recognizing the importance of independent living for individuals with disabilities made possible by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and calling for further action to strengthen home and community living for individuals with disabilities.

To ensure that States do not prohibit an individual from obtaining, possessing, distributing, or using life-saving drug testing technologies, and for other purposes.

To require the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to promulgate regulations with respect to regional and interregional transmission planning, and for other purposes.
