To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to repeal the particular work requirement that disqualifies able-bodied adults for eligibility to participate in the supplemental nutrition assistance program.

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide hereditary cancer genetic testing for individuals with a history of a hereditary cancer gene mutation in a blood relative or a personal or ancestral history suspicious for hereditary cancer, and to provide coverage of certain cancer screenings or preventive surgeries that would reduce the risk for individuals with a germline (inherited) mutation associated with a high risk of developing a preventable cancer.

To amend section 249 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to render available to certain long-term residents of the United States the benefit under that section.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to expand and improve the earned income tax credit.

Expressing support for the designation of the week beginning March 5, 2023, as School Social Work Week.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to modify the private business use requirements for bonds issued for lead service line replacement projects.

To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to provide grants to hire and retain school social workers, and for other purposes.

To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to increase civics education programs, and for other purposes.

To repeal section 3003 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015, and for other purposes.

To posthumously award a historic Congressional Gold Medal, collectively, to Africans and their descendants enslaved within our country from August 20, 1619, to December 6, 1865.
