Canyon’s Law

Expressing support for the designation of June 26 as LGBTQI+ Equality Day.

To amend the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act to establish an energy circuit rider program to disseminate technical and other assistance to rural communities to support energy efficiency and clean energy projects that save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to clarify that all provisions shall apply to legally married same-sex couples in the same manner as other married couples.

To permit legally married same-sex couples to amend their filing status for tax returns outside the statute of limitations.

To direct the Federal Trade Commission to require impact assessments of automated decision systems and augmented critical decision processes, and for other purposes.

To expand access to health insurance coverage for immigrants and their families by removing legal and policy barriers to health insurance coverage, and for other purposes.

To direct the Federal Trade Commission to prescribe rules prohibiting the marketing of firearms to minors, and for other purposes.

To protect a person’s ability to determine whether to continue or end a pregnancy, and to protect a health care provider’s ability to provide abortion services.

SECURE Act

To amend title 28, United States Code, to prohibit the exclusion of individuals from service on a Federal jury on account of sexual orientation or gender identity.

To encourage and facilitate efforts by States and other stakeholders to conserve and sustain the western population of monarch butterflies, and for other purposes.

To direct the Federal Communications Commission to take certain actions to increase diversity of ownership in the broadcasting industry, and for other purposes.

To promote affordable access to evidence-based opioid treatments under the Medicare program and require coverage of medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorders, opioid overdose reversal medications, and recovery support services by health plans without cost-sharing requirements.

To provide for an emergency increase in Federal funding to State Medicaid programs for expenditures on home and community-based services.

State Public Option Act

To establish statutory rights to choose to receive, provide, and cover fertility treatments, and for other purposes.

To protect the privacy of personal reproductive or sexual health information, and for other purposes.

To require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to issue guidance on best practices for screening and treatment of congenital syphilis under Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and for other purposes.

Designating June 6, 2025, as National Naloxone Awareness Day.
