Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act

Expressing support for the recognition of October 26, 2024, as Intersex Awareness Day, and supporting the goals and ideals of Intersex Awareness Day.

To amend title 10, United States Code, to ensure that members of the Armed Forces and their families have access to the contraception they need in order to promote the health and readiness of all members of the Armed Forces, and for other purposes.

To amend the National Apprenticeship Act in order to increase and expand the national apprenticeship system to include the immediate recruitment, employment, and on-the-job earn as you learn training of young African Americans, and to promote the development of equitable hiring standards necessary to safeguard the diversity of apprentices, and for other purposes.

To provide incentives for the purchase of water-efficient products, and for other purposes.

To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to expand the eligibility of students to participate in the supplemental nutrition assistance program, establish college student food insecurity demonstration programs, and for other purposes.

To reauthorize and modernize part B of title IV of the Social Security Act to strengthen child welfare services, expand the availability of prevention services to better meet the needs of vulnerable families, and for other purposes.

To amend the Securities Act of 1933 to require covered issuers to carry out a racial equity audit every 2 years, to require atonement for the descendants of enslaved persons, and for other purposes.

To enhance the rights of domestic employees, and for other purposes.

To hold law enforcement accountable for misconduct in court, improve transparency through data collection, and reform police training and policies.

To establish in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency of the Department of Homeland Security a program to promote the cybersecurity field to disadvantaged communities, including older individuals, racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, geographically diverse communities, socioeconomically diverse communities, women, individuals from nontraditional educational paths, individuals who are veterans, and individuals who were formerly incarcerated, and for other purposes.

To direct the Joint Committee on the Library to procure a statue of Benjamin Franklin for placement in the Capitol.

To require the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to establish a grant program to create or expand programs at minority-serving institutions relating to minority entrepreneurship and business ownership, and for other purposes.

To improve the financial literacy of secondary school students.

To require the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to review and make certain revisions to the Standard Occupational Classification System, and for other purposes.

To address and take action to prevent bullying and harassment of students.

To require institutions of higher education to designate at least one employee to coordinate compliance with title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and for other purposes.

To promote and ensure delivery of high-quality special education and related services to children and youth who are blind or visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, deafdisabled, or deafblind through instructional methodologies meeting their unique language and learning needs, to enhance accountability for the provision of such services, and for other purposes.

Recognizing September 21, 2023, as National Teach Ag Day and celebrating 75 years of the National Association of Agricultural Educators.

To direct the Federal Trade Commission to require impact assessments of automated decision systems and augmented critical decision processes, and for other purposes.
