To direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to develop and implement a program and national strategic action plan to prepare and empower the health care sector to protect the health and well-being of our workers, our communities, and our planet in the face of the climate crisis, and for other purposes.

Expressing the sense of the Senate that the actions of the Trump Administration that drastically and indiscriminately reduce staff at Federal agencies, freeze vast swaths of critical Federal funding, and dismantle Federal agencies are destructive and harmful to communities across the United States and have raised costs for American families.

To direct the Secretary of Labor to promulgate an occupational safety and health standard to protect workers from heat-related injuries and illnesses.

To direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to study and report on the relationship between hair straighteners and uterine cancer, particularly among women of color.

To amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to reauthorize the diesel emissions reduction program.

Recognizing that climate change poses a growing threat to public health and necessitates coordinated action to mitigate its impacts and safeguard the health and well-being of all people in the United States.

Expressing support for the designation of July 10, 2025, as Journeyman Lineworkers Recognition Day.

Recognizing June 2025, as LGBTQ Pride Month.

Break the Cycle of Violence Act

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to clarify that all provisions shall apply to legally married same-sex couples in the same manner as other married couples.

To permit legally married same-sex couples to amend their filing status for tax returns outside the statute of limitations.

To protect a person’s ability to determine whether to continue or end a pregnancy, and to protect a health care provider’s ability to provide abortion services.

To amend chapter 131 of title 5, United States Code, to prevent financial exploitation by public office holders, and for other purposes.

Designating the week of May 18 through May 24, 2025, as “National Public Works Week”.

Integrated Ocean Observation System Reauthorization Act of 2025

To amend the National Telecommunications and Information Administration Organization Act to establish the Office of Policy Development and Cybersecurity, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the contributions of Black people to the musical heritage of the United States and the need for greater access to music education for Black students and designating June 2025 as Black Music Month.

To amend title XIX and XXI of the Social Security Act to provide coverage of comprehensive tobacco cessation services under such titles, and for other purposes.

To authorize the Department of Housing and Urban Development to transform neighborhoods of extreme poverty into sustainable, mixed-income neighborhoods with access to economic opportunities, by revitalizing severely distressed housing, and investing and leveraging investments in well-functioning services, educational opportunities, public assets, public transportation, and improved access to jobs, and for other purposes.
