American Innovation and R&D Competitiveness Act of 2025

Supporting the goals and ideals of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration, to award grants to expand and improve maternal health care services, and for other purposes.

To amend section 45Q of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to establish the mine methane capture incentive credit.

To prevent closure of social security field and hearing offices and resident stations.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide for the exclusion from gross income of amounts received from State-based catastrophe loss mitigation programs.

To amend the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, 1947, and the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959, and for other purposes.

To amend the Voting Rights Act of 1965 to revise the criteria for determining which States and political subdivisions are subject to section 4 of the Act, and for other purposes.

To amend title XI of the Social Security Act to establish that political appointees and special governments may not access beneficiary data systems, to establish civil penalties for certain violations relating to disclosure or access of beneficiary information, and for other purposes.

To require income from the first year of an apprenticeship to be disregarded in determining eligibility for assistance under the program of block grants to States for temporary assistance for needy families.

Of inquiry requesting the President of the United States to furnish certain information to the House of Representatives relating to the operations of the Social Security Administration after January 20, 2025, including information on the Department of Government Efficiency’s access to the Social Security Administration and to information in the possession of such Administration.

Safe Schools Improvement Act

Recognizing and celebrating the significance of Black History Month.

Supporting the designation of March 2025 as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to extend Medicare-dependent hospital and Medicare low-volume hospital payments, and to direct the Comptroller General of the United States to carry out a report on Medicare rural hospital classifications.

Roberto Clemente Commemorative Coin Act

To fully fund the Prevention and Public Health Fund and reaffirm the importance of prevention in the United States healthcare system.

To regulate large capacity ammunition feeding devices.

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to allow borrowers of Parent PLUS loans or loans under section 428B made on behalf of a dependent student to repay such loans pursuant to an income-contingent repayment plan or income-based repayment plan, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the seriousness of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and expressing support for the designation of the month of September as PCOS Awareness Month.
