Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act of 2025

Commending Volkert, Inc. on the occasion of its 100th anniversary and its century of service to the State of Alabama and the United States.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to expand, and make permanent certain modifications of, the earned income credit.

American Family Act

To amend title 18, United States Code, to restrict the possession of certain firearms, and for other purposes.

Of inquiry requesting the President and directing the Secretary of Health and Human Services to transmit, respectively, certain documents to the House of Representatives relating to the effect on taxpayer and child privacy of the seizure by the so-called Department of Government Efficiency of legally-protected identity and financial data stored in the National Directory of New Hires and the Federal Parent Locator Service.

Raise the Wage Act of 2025

To limit the deferral or transfer of Federal funds made available to the Department of Veterans Affairs, to limit layoffs and other personnel actions at the Department, and for other purposes.

To modify the boundaries of the Talladega National Forest, and for other purposes.

Of inquiry requesting the President and directing the Secretaries of the Treasury and Labor to transmit, respectively, certain documents to the House of Representatives relating to the effect on local economies and communities of the Department of Government Efficiency and newly-imposed tariffs.

Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act of 2025

To establish the American Worker Retirement Plan, improve the financial security of working Americans by facilitating the accumulation of wealth, and for other purposes.

Tax Fairness for Workers Act

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to provide for additional uses of funds for grants to strengthen historically Black colleges and universities, and for other purposes.

Expanding Access to School Meals Act of 2025

Supporting the goals and ideals of Financial Literacy Month.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exclude debt held by certain insurance companies from capital assets and to extend capital loss carryovers for such companies from 5 years to 10 years.

Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide special rules for purposes of determining if financial guaranty insurance companies are qualifying insurance corporations under the passive foreign investment company rules.
