Recognizing National Foster Care Month as an opportunity to raise awareness about the challenges of children in the foster care system, and encouraging Congress to implement policies to improve the lives of children in the foster care system.

To provide for the approval of final regulations relating to Federal service labor-management relations that are applicable to the Senate and the employees of the Senate, and that were issued by the Office of Compliance, now known as the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights, on August 19, 1996, and for other purposes.

To permit legally married same-sex couples to amend their filing status for tax returns outside the statute of limitations.

To prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation, and for other purposes.

To strengthen the national security of the United States by decreasing the reliance of the Department of Defense on critical minerals from the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea, and other geostrategic competitors and adversaries of the United States, and for other purposes.

To require the purchase of domestically made flags of the United States of America for use by the Federal Government.

To prohibit airport improvement grants funds from being used for contracts with entities that have violated intellectual property rights of United States entities.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to expand the earned income and child tax credits, and for other purposes.

Designating June 2023 as Great Outdoors Month.

To establish a Federal Clearinghouse on Safety and Best Practices for Nonprofit Organizations, Faith-based Organizations, and Houses of Worship within the Department of Homeland Security, and for other purposes.

To amend the Federal Ocean Acidification Research And Monitoring Act of 2009 to require the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to collaborate with State and local governments and Indian Tribes on vulnerability assessments related to ocean acidification, research planning, and similar activities, and for other purposes.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to modify the program of comprehensive assistance for family caregivers of veterans, and for other purposes.

To waive time limitations in order to allow the Medal of Honor to be awarded to Gary Lee McKiddy, of Miamisburg, Ohio, for acts of valor while a helicopter crew chief and door gunner with the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War.

To amend the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to provide a uniform 8-digit subheading number for all whiskies.

Designating the week of May 14 through May 20, 2023, as National Police Week.

Supporting the mission and goals of National Fentanyl Awareness Day in 2023, including increasing individual and public awareness of the impact of fake or counterfeit fentanyl pills on families and young people.

To allow Americans to earn paid sick time so that they can address their own health needs and the health needs of their families.

Making further supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023, for border management activities, and for other purposes.

To require the development of a comprehensive rural hospital cybersecurity workforce development strategy, and for other purposes.

Expressing the sense of the Senate that public servants should be commended for their dedication and continued service to the United States during Public Service Recognition Week.
