SAFE Lending Act of 2025

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to impose an excise tax on the failure of certain hedge funds owning excess single-family residences to dispose of such residences, and for other purposes.

To amend the Grand Ronde Reservation Act to address the hunting, fishing, trapping, and animal gathering rights of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community, and for other purposes.

To amend titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act to increase access to services provided by advanced practice registered nurses under the Medicare and Medicaid programs, and for other purposes.

To require the Secretary of Commerce to establish and carry out a grant program to conserve, restore, and manage kelp forest ecosystems, and for other purposes.

To amend the Clean Air Act to establish a grant program for supporting local communities in detecting, preparing for, communicating about, or mitigating the environmental and public health impacts of wildfire smoke and extreme heat, and for other purposes.

To support and promote the human rights of Southern Mongolians in the People’s Republic of China, and for other purposes.

To amend the Commodity Exchange Act to prohibit political election or contest agreements, contracts, transactions, and swaps.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide a contribution limit and increased minimum distributions for certain retirement plans with large account balances.

To effectively staff the high-need public elementary schools and secondary schools of the United States with school-based mental health services providers.
