To amend title 18, United States Code, to provide a penalty for assault against journalists, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the roles and contributions of elementary and secondary school teachers in building and enhancing the civic, cultural, and economic well-being of the United States.

To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to require that supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits be calculated using the value of the low-cost food plan, and for other purposes.

Recognizing National Foster Care Month as an opportunity to raise awareness about the challenges of children in the foster care system and encouraging Congress to implement policy to improve the lives of children in, or at risk of entering, the foster care system.

To reauthorize title II of the Higher Education Act of 1965, and for other purposes.

To amend title 9 of the United States Code with respect to arbitration.

To increase the quality and supply of child care and lower child care costs for families.

To amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to increase criminal and civil penalties related to child labor, to require the Secretary of Labor to annually report to Congress on child labor violations, and for other purposes.

To designate the Federal building located at 985 Michigan Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, as the John Conyers Federal Building.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the Food and Drug Administration has the authority to approve drugs for abortion care.

To require full funding of part A of title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
