Assault Weapons Ban of 2025

Recognizing the 50th anniversary of Black April and the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975.

To require the Secretary of Homeland Security to conduct a collective response to a terrorism exercise that includes the management of cascading effects on critical infrastructure during times of extreme cold weather, and for other purposes.

To establish an improved Medicare-for-All national health insurance program.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to expand the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make grants to entities that furnish services to homeless veterans.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the authorization of appropriations for comprehensive service programs for homeless veterans.

Amending House Resolution 211 with respect to a national emergency declared by the President on February 1, 2025, and House Resolution 313 with respect to a national emergency declared by the President on April 2, 2025.

To direct the United States Postal Service to designate a single, unique ZIP Code for Wheatfield, New York.

Supporting the designation of the week of April 11 through April 17, 2025, as the eighth annual Black Maternal Health Week, founded by Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Inc. (BMMA), to bring national attention to the maternal and reproductive health crisis in the United States and the importance of reducing maternal mortality and morbidity among Black women and birthing people.

To limit the impoundment, transfer, or reprogramming of Federal funds made available for the National Institutes of Health, and for other purposes.

To provide employment protections for, and reinstatement of, certain probationary Federal career employees, and for other purposes.

To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to make certain improvements with respect to the Officer for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties of the Department of Homeland Security, and for other purposes.

To limit the impoundment, transfer, or reprogramming of certain Federal funds made available to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and for other purposes.

American Family Act

Recognizing the 159th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1866.

To temporarily expand the supplemental nutrition assistance program income eligibility of households that include certain veterans.
