To amend title 18, United States Code, to require federally licensed firearms importers, manufacturers, and dealers to meet certain requirements with respect to securing their firearms inventory, business records, and business premises.

To require a background check for every firearm sale.

To amend Public Law 115–97 (commonly known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act) to repeal the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge oil and gas program, and to preserve the Arctic coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska, as wilderness in recognition of its extraordinary natural ecosystems and for the permanent good of present and future generations of Americans.

To posthumously award a Congressional gold medal to Muhammad Ali, in recognition of his contributions to the Nation.

To rename the program under part C of title XVIII of the Social Security Act, and for other purposes.

To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.

To prohibit air carriers from imposing fees that are not reasonable and proportional to the costs incurred by the air carriers, and for other purposes.

To amend the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 to authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to waive the matching funds requirement under the specialty crop research initiative, and for other purposes.

To clarify the rights of certain persons who are held or detained at a port of entry or at any facility overseen by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

To require an annual budget estimate for the initiatives of the National Institutes of Health pursuant to reports and recommendations made under the National Alzheimer’s Project Act.

To regulate large capacity ammunition feeding devices.

To extend the National Alzheimer’s Project.

To impose sanctions on the Supreme Leader of Iran and the President of Iran and their respective offices for human rights abuses and support for terrorism.

To ensure affordable abortion coverage and care for every person, and for other purposes.

To implement merit-based reforms to the civil service hiring system that replace degree-based hiring with skills- and competency-based hiring, and for other purposes.

To amend title 5, United States Code, to establish Lunar New Year Day as a Federal holiday, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the cultural and historical significance of Lunar New Year in 2023.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee, as an entity of the United States Postal Service, should issue a commemorative stamp in honor of Congressman Elijah E. Cummings.

Supporting the goals and ideals of Korean American Day.

Recognizing the 94th birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., and the 40th anniversary of the Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday.
