Expressing support for the designation of September 2024 as Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month in order to educate communities across the United States about sickle cell disease and the need for research, early detection methods, effective treatments, and preventative care programs with respect to complications from sickle cell disease and conditions related to sickle cell disease.

To amend the National Apprenticeship Act in order to increase and expand the national apprenticeship system to include the immediate recruitment, employment, and on-the-job earn as you learn training of young African Americans, and to promote the development of equitable hiring standards necessary to safeguard the diversity of apprentices, and for other purposes.

Acknowledging and thanking America’s birth centers for their high quality and high value model of health care, and expressing support for the recognition of the week of September 14 through 20, 2024, as National Birth Center Week.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that every person has the basic right to emergency health care, including abortion care.

Designating the week beginning on September 9, 2024, as National Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week.

Recognizing suicide as a serious public health problem and expressing support for the designation of September as National Suicide Prevention Month as well as September 10, 2024, as World Suicide Prevention Day.

Expressing support for the designation of September 10, 2024, as National Firearm Suicide Prevention Day to educate about the growing firearm suicide crisis in the United States and promote the importance of storing firearms safely and securely as an essential component of suicide prevention.

To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 675 Wolf Ledges Parkway in Akron, Ohio, as the Judge James R. Williams Post Office Building.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee, as an entity of the United States Postal Service, should issue a commemorative stamp in honor of Charity Adams Earley.

To transfer and limit Executive Branch authority to suspend or restrict the entry of a class of aliens.

To improve the health of minority individuals, and for other purposes.

Remembering the lives lost and honoring the survivors two years after the Independence Day Parade shooting that occurred on July 4, 2022, in Highland Park, Illinois.

Encouraging the celebration of the month of June as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month.

To prohibit the use of artificial intelligence to deprive or defraud individuals of the right to vote in elections for public office, and for other purposes.

To improve the structure of the Federal Pell Grant program, and for other purposes.

Recognizing June 19, 2024, as this year’s observance of the historical significance of Juneteenth Independence Day.

Expressing support for the designation of June 21, 2024, as National ASK (Asking Saves Kids) Day to promote children’s health and safe storage of guns in the home.

To require the Attorney General to make publicly available a list of federally licensed firearms dealers with a high number of short time-to-crime firearm traces, and to prohibit Federal departments and agencies from contracting with such dealers.

To enhance the rights of domestic employees, and for other purposes.

Expressing support for the designation of June 2024 as Black Music Month.
