Designating September 2024 as National Literacy Month.

To provide grants to local educational agencies to help public schools reduce class size in the early elementary grades, and for other purposes.

To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to expand the eligibility of students to participate in the supplemental nutrition assistance program, establish college student food insecurity demonstration programs, and for other purposes.

Condemning the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump during a political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, honoring the victims who were killed and injured at the rally, and calling for unity and civility in the United States.

To hold law enforcement accountable for misconduct in court, improve transparency through data collection, and reform police training and policies.

To transfer and limit Executive Branch authority to suspend or restrict the entry of a class of aliens.

Recognizing Edmundo González Urrutia as the President-elect of Venezuela.

To reassert the constitutional authority of Congress to determine the general applicability of the criminal laws of the United States, and for other purposes.

Designating July 30, 2024, as National Whistleblower Appreciation Day.

To prevent discrimination, including harassment, in employment.

Designating the week of August 4 through August 10, 2024, as National Farmers Market Week.

To establish, in the Office of Refugee Resettlement, the Destination Reception Services Program New Arrival Services Board and to authorize a grant program for providing funding for medium-term services to eligible arrivals in destination States and localities to promote their self-sufficiency, reduce costs of extended emergency service provision, maximize benefit to new arrivals and host communities, provide diversion from homelessness, and promote the effective navigation and compliance of the immigration process.

To provide for grants for States that require fair and impartial police training for law enforcement officers of that State and to incentivize States to enact laws requiring the independent investigation and prosecution of the use of deadly force by law enforcement officers, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the importance of independent living and economic self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities made possible by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and calling for further action to strengthen and expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in work and community life.

To improve the environmental health outcomes of incarcerated people and carceral facility workers, and for other purposes.

To amend title 11, United States Code, to make the filing of a petition for relief under chapter 11 that is objectively futile or in subjective bad faith a cause for dismissal of the case, and for other purposes.

To amend title 5, United States Code, to establish and clarify the applicable statute of limitations for seeking remedy for a legal wrong due to agency action, and for other purposes.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to deny the deduction for advertising and promotional expenses for prescription drugs.

Commemorating 175 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and the Republic of Guatemala.

To amend chapter 11 of title 35, United States Code, to require the voluntary collection of demographic information for patent inventors, and for other purposes.
