GRID Power Act

Recognizing the benefits of natural gas to the United States economy and environment, and recognizing natural gas as an affordable and green energy.

To nullify certain interagency guidance related to climate-related financial risk management for large financial institutions.

To require the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to reform the interconnection queue process for the prioritization and approval of certain projects.

To expand psychological mental and behavioral health services to Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP beneficiaries by permitting reimbursement of psychological services provided by certain supervised psychology trainees, and facilitating the reimbursement of those services.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide for a credit against tax, or refund of tax, for certain Federal insurance taxes for employees who are members of religious faiths which oppose participation in such insurance.

To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 265 Main Street in Philo, Ohio, as the Samuel J. Mitchell Jr. Post Office.

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to maintain certain telehealth flexibilities relating to provider privacy under the Medicare program.

To require the Consumer Product Safety Commission to promulgate a mandatory consumer product safety standard with respect to retractable awnings.

To ensure appropriate access to remote monitoring services furnished under the Medicare program.

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide coverage of certain technologies and medical devices under the Medicare program.

To provide for a study on the effects of remote monitoring on individuals who are prescribed opioids.

To require the Secretary of Transportation to promulgate regulations relating to the approval of foreign manufacturers of cylinders, and for other purposes.

To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to preserve cable franchising authority, and for other purposes.

To direct the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, in consultation with the Secretary of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Regional Transmission Organizations, and Independent System Operators, to submit a report to Congress on the reliability of the electric grid.

To improve Federal coordination with respect to spectrum management, and for other purposes.

To direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, and the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission to conduct studies and report to Congress on actions taken to expand access to telehealth services under the Medicare, Medicaid, and Children’s Health Insurance programs during the COVID–19 emergency.
