Close the Medigap Act of 2025

To amend part E of title IV of the Social Security Act to require States to prohibit genital surgery on foster children with variations in sex characteristics who are under six years of age as a condition of receiving grants under such part.

To provide for a comprehensive Federal response to Long COVID, including research, education, and support for affected individuals, to direct the National Institutes of Health to establish a Long COVID research program, and for other purposes.

To improve the health of minority individuals, and for other purposes.

To provide emergency assistance to States, territories, Tribal nations, and local areas affected by substance use disorder, including the use of opioids and stimulants, and to make financial assistance available to States, territories, Tribal nations, local areas, public or private nonprofit entities, and certain health providers, to provide for the development, organization, coordination, and operation of more effective and cost efficient systems for the delivery of essential services to individuals with substance use disorder and their families.

To direct the Federal Trade Commission to require impact assessments of automated decision systems and augmented critical decision processes, and for other purposes.

To establish an improved Medicare for All national health insurance program.

To direct the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to implement the Perinatal Care Alternative Payment Model Demonstration Project to test various payment models with respect to maternity care provided to pregnant and postpartum individuals, and for other purposes.

To amend the Public Health Service Act with respect to maternal vaccination awareness and equity, and for other purposes.

To end preventable maternal mortality, severe maternal morbidity, and maternal health disparities in the United States, and for other purposes.

To amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to establish a pilot grant program to make grants to school food authorities to provide 100 percent plant-based food and milk options, and for other purposes.

Recognizing the work and contributions of doulas towards improving pregnancy, birth, and postpartum outcomes.

To amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 and the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to make breakfasts and lunches free for all children, and for other purposes.

To provide grants to owners of intergenerational dwelling units, and for other purposes.

To amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to provide for notification by manufacturers of critical essential medicines of increased demand of such drugs, and for other purposes.

To amend title 9 of the United States Code with respect to arbitration.

Recognizing the duty of the Federal Government to create a Green New Deal.

To establish a Green New Deal for Health to prepare and empower the health care sector to protect the health and well-being of our workers, our communities, and our planet in the face of the climate crisis, and for other purposes.

To provide standards for facilities at which aliens in the custody of the Department of Homeland Security are detained, and for other purposes.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the Food and Drug Administration has the authority to approve drugs for abortion care.
