Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to provide for Workforce Pell Grants.

To amend the Federal Crop Insurance Act to provide premium support for certain plans of insurance, and for other purposes.

Supporting the goals and ideals of National Nurses Week, to be observed from May 6 through May 12, 2025.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to expand the exclusion of Pell Grants from gross income.

To amend the Public Health Service Act to provide more opportunities for mothers to succeed, and for other purposes.

Expressing support for the designation of the week of May 4, 2025, through May 10, 2025, as National Small Business Week to celebrate the contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs in every community in the United States.

Expressing support for the designation of May 2025 as Renewable Fuels Month to recognize the important role that renewable fuels play in reducing carbon impacts, lowering fuel prices for consumers, supporting rural communities, and lessening reliance on foreign adversaries.

To amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to establish a grant program to help law enforcement agencies with civilian law enforcement tasks, and for other purposes.

To amend the National Child Protection Act of 1993 to ensure that businesses and organizations that work with vulnerable populations are able to request background checks for their contractors who work with those populations, as well as for individuals that the businesses or organizations license or certify to provide care for those populations.

To include sexual assault and aggravated sexual violence in the definition of aggravated felony under the Immigration and Nationality Act in order to expedite the removal of aliens convicted of any such crime.

To amend the Federal Meat Inspection Act and the Poultry Products Inspection Act to allow the interstate sale of State-inspected meat and poultry, and for other purposes.

Secure Family Futures Act of 2025

To prevent States and local jurisdictions from interfering with the production and distribution of agricultural products in interstate commerce, and for other purposes.

To establish penalties for violating section 104(f) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961.

To establish the Office of the Special Investigator for Competition Matters within the Department of Agriculture.

Honoring the life of the Honorable John Bennett Johnston, Jr., former Senator for the State of Louisiana.

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to strengthen disclosure requirements relating to foreign gifts and contracts, to prohibit contracts between institutions of higher education and certain foreign entities and countries of concern, and for other purposes.

To provide for notification to, and review by, Congress with respect to the imposition of duties.

To strengthen the authority of the United States Secret Service to investigate various crimes related to digital asset transactions and to counter transnational cyber criminal activity, including unlicensed money transmitting businesses, structured transactions, and fraud against financial institutions, and for other purposes.
