Recognizing the importance of sleep health and expressing support for the designation of the week of March 12 through March 18, 2023, as Sleep Awareness Week.

Expressing support for developing supportive, inclusive, safe, and responsive public schools that provide all students with a well-rounded education and prepare all students for success in life and for the exercise of their social and economic rights, fostering parental involvement in education in a manner that builds partnerships and trust between parents and educators, and protecting the civil rights of students and families.

To amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to provide more effective remedies to victims of discrimination in the payment of wages on the basis of sex, and for other purposes.

To amend the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to reauthorize the Healthy Food Financing Initiative, and for other purposes.

To amend the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 to provide for the consideration of climate change, and for other purposes.

To provide additional funding for scholarships for students at 1890 institutions.

To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to increase civics education programs, and for other purposes.

To amend title 10, United States Code, to expand eligibility to certain military retirees for concurrent receipt of veterans’ disability compensation and retired pay or combat-related special compensation, and for other purposes.

To authorize the President to award the Medal of Honor to Doris Miller posthumously for acts of valor while a member of the Navy during World War II.

To amend the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, 1947, and the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959, and for other purposes.

Expressing support for America’s Black workers and affirming the need to pass legislation to reduce inequalities and discrimination in the workforce.

To award a Congressional Gold Medal to the Freedom Riders, collectively, in recognition of their unique contribution to Civil Rights, which inspired a revolutionary movement for equality in interstate travel.

Recognizing and celebrating the significance of Black History Month.

To posthumously award a historic Congressional Gold Medal, collectively, to Africans and their descendants enslaved within our country from August 20, 1619, to December 6, 1865.

Expressing support for the designation of the week of February 27 through March 3, 2023, as Public Schools Week.

To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to improve diversity in accelerated student learning programs.
