Plant-Powered School Meals Pilot Act

To amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 to require mandatory funding for the special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children, and for other purposes.

To provide reimbursement to certain Federal employees for childcare expenses during the lapse in appropriations beginning on or about October 1, 2025.

Expressing concern about the growing problem of book banning and the proliferation of threats to freedom of expression in the United States.

To provide for the continuation of agricultural disaster assistance programs in the event of a Government shutdown.

To authorize the reimbursement by the Federal Government of State funds used to maintain participation in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children in the event of a Government shutdown.

Condemning attempts to use Federal regulatory power or litigation to suppress lawful speech, particularly speech critical of a political party or the President of the United States, and warning against the rise of authoritarianism.

POJA Act of 2025

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives condemning all forms of political violence and rejecting rhetoric that dehumanizes or demonizes political opponents.

SHINE for Autumn Act of 2025

Supporting the designation of September 19, 2025, as National Stillbirth Prevention and Awareness Day, recognizing tens of thousands of families in the United States that have endured a stillbirth, and seizing the opportunity to keep other families from experiencing the same tragedy.

To provide paid family and medical leave benefits to certain individuals, and for other purposes.

Honoring the victims of Hurricane Helene and expressing condolences and support for the affected communities in western North Carolina, specifically North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District, 1 year after the hurricane made landfall in the State on September 27, 2024.

To amend the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act to provide for a pilot program under which development loans and loan guarantees may be made to beginning farmers and ranchers, and for other purposes.

To hold law enforcement accountable for misconduct in court, improve transparency through data collection, and reform police training and policies.

Congressional Tribute to Constance Baker Motley Act of 2025

Expressing the sense of Congress that August 30, 2025, be observed as the 135th anniversary of the 1890 Institutions.

Expressing support for testing for antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) as a standard part of prenatal screening, and for other purposes.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and the Social Security Act to provide that an individual engaged in a labor dispute may receive unemployment benefits.

To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to require that supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits be calculated using the value of the low-cost food plan, and for other purposes.
