VA Home Loan Awareness Act of 2025

To enhance the authority of the intelligence community to enter into public-private talent exchanges, and for other purposes.

Expressing support for the designation of November 17, 2024, as National Warrior Call Day and recognizing the importance of connecting warriors in the United States to support structures necessary to transition from the battlefield, especially peer-to-peer connection.

To reassert the constitutional authority of Congress to determine the general applicability of the criminal laws of the United States, and for other purposes.

To require a report on the threats posed by control of strategic ports by the People's Republic of China.

To increase support by the United States Government for critical minerals projects outside the United States, and for other purposes.

Expressing support for the designation of the month of June 2024 as National Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Month and June 27, 2024, as National Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Day.

To prepare for contested logistics environments, and for other purposes.

Expressing the gratitude and appreciation of the Senate for the acts of heroism and valor by the members of the United States Armed Forces who participated in the June 6, 1944, amphibious landing at Normandy, France, and commending those individuals for leadership and bravery in an operation that helped bring an end to World War II.

To provide for improvements to the rivers and harbors of the United States, to provide for the conservation and development of water and related resources, and for other purposes.

To require the Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center to develop a strategy and conduct outreach to United States industry, including shipping companies, port operators, and logistics firms, on the risks of smartport technology of the People's Republic of China and other related risks, and for other purposes.

To enhance intelligence community acquisitions, and for other purposes.

To amend the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 to allow for brownfield revitalization funding eligibility for Alaska Native Tribes, and for other purposes.

To amend the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 to update and expand Federal economic development investment in the economic recovery, resiliency, and competitiveness of communities, regions, and States across the United States, and for other purposes.

To amend the Federal Assets Sale and Transfer Act of 2016 to make improvements to that Act, and for other purposes.

To provide a retroactive effective date for the promotions of senior officers of the Armed Forces whose military promotions were delayed as a result of the suspension of Senate confirmation of such promotions.

To prohibit former members of the Armed Forces from accepting employment in positions involving training, consulting, advising, or instructing any government-associated individual or entity from the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Republic of Cuba, or the Syrian Arab Republic.

Denouncing efforts by the People’s Republic of China to exert malign influence in Latin America.

Recognizing the week of October 30 through November 4, 2023, as National Veterans Small Business Week.

Standing with Israel against terrorism.
