Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Making Agricultural Products Locally Essential Act or the MAPLE Act.
Section 2
2. Maple syrup under the seniors farmers’ market nutrition program Section 4402(b)(1) of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (7 U.S.C. 3007(b)(1)) is amended by inserting maple syrup, before and herbs.
