Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Reauthorization Act of 2024.
Section 2
2. Extension of annual reporting requirement Section 5 of the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 (Public Law 116–76; 22 U.S.C. 5701 note) is amended by striking 7 years after and inserting 12 years after.
Section 3
3. Sunset Section 7(h) of the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 (Public Law 116–76; 22 U.S.C. 5701 note) is amended by striking 5 years after and inserting 10 years after.
