1. Guidance on developing non-addictive medical products to treat pain or addiction Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall issue draft guidance under section 3001(b) of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (21 U.S.C. 355 note) to address non-addictive analgesics for chronic pain, including the information required to be included in guidance documents under paragraphs (1) through (4) of such section 3001(b).
