1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Veterans Affairs Opportunity for Women-Owned Small Businesses Act of 2023.

2. Recognition of women-owned small business program in Department of Veterans Affairs procurement hierarchy of small business preferences Section 8127(h) of title 38, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (3)— in subparagraph (A), by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; and in subparagraph (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or; by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: section 8(m) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(m)). by redesignating subparagraphs (A) through (C) as clauses (i) through (iii), respectively; by redesignating paragraphs (1) through (4) as subparagraphs (A) through (D), respectively; in the matter before subparagraph (A), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by inserting (1) before Preferences for; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph (2): All preferences described in subparagraph (C) of paragraph (1) shall be afforded the same degree of priority under such paragraph. (C)section 8(m) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(m)).; and (2)All preferences described in subparagraph (C) of paragraph (1) shall be afforded the same degree of priority under such paragraph..
