Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the No Bail Post-Jail Act.
Section 2
2. Denial for pretrial release for prior incarceration Section 3124(e) of title 18, United States Code is amended by adding at the end the following: A person shall be considered to pose a danger to the safety of the community and be ineligible for release if the judicial officer finds that the person— is charged with a felony offense; is an adult or a juvenile charged as an adult with regard to the offense; and has a prior felony conviction for a crime of violence that resulted in the person serving not less than 30 days in a State or Federal correctional facility, not including any period of pretrial detention without conviction. (4)
A person shall be considered to pose a danger to the safety of the community and be ineligible for release if the judicial officer finds that the person—
(A)
is charged with a felony offense;
(B)
is an adult or a juvenile charged as an adult with regard to the offense; and
(C)
has a prior felony conviction for a crime of violence that resulted in the person serving not less than 30 days in a State or Federal correctional facility, not including any period of pretrial detention without conviction.
