Section 1
1. Camping on public property in the District of Columbia In this section, the term camp means to use any material to set up, maintain, or establish a temporary place of abode. It shall be unlawful in the District of Columbia to camp on public property. Any person who violates subsection (b) shall be fined not more than $500, imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both.
