Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Taxpayer Receipt Act.
Section 2
2. Information regarding the Federal budget The Secretary of the Treasury, or the Secretary’s delegate, shall provide, to each individual filing a Federal income tax return for a taxable year, a one-page document which contains, with respect to the most recently completed fiscal year— total Federal outlays during such year; total Federal revenues collected during such year; the Federal deficit or surplus for such year; and the total Federal debt held by the public.
