That the House of Representatives— supports measures by the manufacturing community to adopt Design for Recycling initiatives that aim to make it easier for companies to recycle products, reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce the need for raw materials; and confirms that the recycled materials industry serves an essential role in our economy as they manage end-of-life products, provide vital raw materials to the manufacturing supply chain, contribute to the economy, and employ over half-a-million people throughout the United States.
