That the House of Representatives— supports the designation of National Firearm Suicide Prevention Day to encourage storing firearms safely and securely as an essential component of suicide prevention; encourages public health, medical, and other professionals to discuss gun ownership, gun safety, safe storage in the home, and suicide prevention with their patients; and supports the goals and ideals of National Firearm Suicide Prevention Day.
