Section 1
That — it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol was illegitimate, and that the conclusions and findings presented were predetermined due to the committee’s partisan nature; the subpoenas issued on September 23, 2021, October 6, 2021, and February 9, 2022, for Stephen K. Bannon, Mark Randall Meadows, Daniel Scavino, Jr., and Peter K. Navarro are hereby rescinded; H. Res. 730, recommending that the House of Representatives find Stephen K. Bannon in contempt of Congress, adopted on October 21, 2021, is withdrawn, dismissed, and otherwise ended and concluded without further proceedings or enforcement; H. Res. 1037, recommending that the House of Representatives find Peter K. Navarro and Daniel Scavino, Jr. in contempt of Congress, adopted on April 6, 2022, is withdrawn, dismissed, and otherwise ended and concluded without further proceedings or enforcement; H. Res. 851, recommending that the House of Representatives find Mark Randall Meadows in contempt of Congress, adopted on December 14, 2021, is withdrawn, dismissed, and otherwise ended and concluded without further proceedings or enforcement; and pursuant to sections 192 and 194 of title 2, United States Code, the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall notify the Department of Justice that the subpoenas are hereby rescinded and shall be considered null and void.
