Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Keep the Heat On Act of 2025.
Section 2
2. Funding for LIHEAP during a Federal Government shutdown Out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, there is appropriated for making payments under section 2602(b) of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981 (42 U.S.C. 8621(b)) during any period of a lapse in discretionary appropriations during fiscal year 2026 such sums as may be necessary to make payments under such section at a rate equal to the rate of payments in the corresponding month of fiscal year 2025.
