Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as River’s Law.
Section 2
2. Safety requirements for child care providers Section 658E(c)(2)(I) of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 9858c(c)(2)(I)) is amended— in clause (i)(XI), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; by redesignating clause (ii) as clause (iii); and by inserting after clause (i) the following: shall include— a prohibition on constructing, maintaining, or otherwise operating a pool on the premises of any facility where such services are provided; and a requirement to install door and window alarms in any facility where such services are provided; and (ii)
shall include— (I) a prohibition on constructing, maintaining, or otherwise operating a pool on the premises of any facility where such services are provided; and
(II)
a requirement to install door and window alarms in any facility where such services are provided; and
