Section 1
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Extending Access to Addiction Treatment Act.

2. Extending requirement for State Medicaid plans to provide coverage for medication-assisted treatment Section 1905(a)(29) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396d(a)(29)) is amended by striking 2025 and inserting 2035. Section 1006(b)(4)(A) of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act (42 U.S.C. 1396a note) is amended by striking 2025 and inserting 2035.
